After a quick check-in procedure, after a short break, the guests walked into the conference room of the hotel and started their first lesson in China.

        In accordance with the cooperation agreement reached between my country and relevant countries and regions of the “Belt and Road”, according to the deployment of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, the "2018 Samoa Cooking Skills Training Course" was jointly organized by the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and the Department of Commerce and undertaken by Shidao Hotel , The class officially opened in our library that afternoon. 21 Samoan friends from across the ocean will receive 9-day cooking theory and practical skills training here.

       "The 9-day training includes 4 and a half days of theory and 4 and a half days of practice. During this period, we must teach our Chinese good cooking skills and excellent food culture to these foreign students." Shandong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security Zou Jiang, Section Chief of the Labor Employment Training Center, said that all those who participated in the training were head chefs from the Samoan government and heads of catering companies. The training lecturers are culinary experts organized by the provincial human society system, including national chief culinary technicians, national senior trainee teachers, etc.

   In the practice link, some specific operation internships, drills, etc. are carried out with the cooperation of senior chefs from Shidao Hotel.

   After a comprehensive inspection of all catering units in the province, the Provincial Human Resources and Social Security Department believed that Shidao Hotel’s management experience, teamwork, and mental outlook were all good choices, and finally chose Shidao Hotel as the training location.
